Trace Remover 1.3 is a privacy tool for Windows computers. The application's sole purpose is to delete files that might compromise your privacy for good. There are two ways in which Trace Remover can accomplish that goal. The first one is the automatic option: Windows Installation. This feature will carry out a series of tasks. It will empty the recycle bin, delete temporary files, delete recent documents, delete NetHood files, and it will also delete lots of Registry entries that could be used to track your application usage, your network drives, your network history, etc. You can select or deselect any of the tasks in the setting menu. Trace Remover can even delete internal files and history files of Internet Explorer, Outlook Express, Windows Media Player, Netmeeting, Remote Desktop Connection and your Windows accessories. The good thing is that you can configure the application to delete lots and lots of files with a single click. With the default settings, it deleted 1050 files in my system in under 3 seconds. The second option allows you to set wildcards to search for files in your system and delete them. I can only think of one missing feature for this application: a scheduler.
